“Strengthening Health Systems for Accessible Rehabilitation Services in Georgia” – Workshop

On August 01, 2022, Curatio International Foundation in the frame of the project: “Strengthening Health Systems for Accessible Rehabilitation Services in Georgia” held a workshop with relevant stakeholders.

The purpose of the workshop was to present to the audience and held a discussion about a.) Criteria of the Rehabilitation Services and b.) Costing Methodology for the Rehabilitation Interventions prepared in the frame of the project.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the: Curatio International Foundation (CIF), Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia (MoIDPLHSA), service providers, NGOs.

The main goal of the project is to Improve Financial Protection for Rehabilitation among Georgian people, according to needs.​The project aims to integrate State-funded rehabilitation services in the UHC program and delivered by health care providers. Strategic Objectives: ​

  1. Integration of rehabilitation in Georgian health systems financing programs. ​
  2. Creating support systems for implementing programs from Objective 1. ​

The project is implemented within the initiative of the Results for Development (R4D) and USAID: “The Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator”.
