Natia Shengelia has joined Curatio International Foundation in 2011. She has over 10 years’ experience working in the field of health policy and systems research on a variety of health-related research projects at national or international level as an assistant program manager, researcher, as well as a consultant. During her working experience she has been involved in several research projects covering different themes such as HIV/AIDS, key population (PWIDs, MSM, FSW) behavioral and size estimation surveys, non-communicable disease, pharmaceutical surveys, Hep C, Tuberculosis, costing studies, mental health. Dr. Shengelia has participated and made her contribution in all steps of project implementation starting from desk review, study tool development and data collection to reports and academic papers writing, research findings dissemination through international conferences or discussing main findings during multi-stakeholder meetings. Dr. Shengelia is also co-author of several scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
