Training on using Research Evidence for Policy Making

Curatio International Foundation in partnership with Makerere University the Center for Rapid Evidence Synthesis  and St. Micheal’s Hospital-Knowledge Translation Program (Canada) is holding a 3-day training on 15-17 May, at the Parliament of Georgia on using Research Evidence for Policy Making and on the Rapid Response Synthesis. Representatives of the Ministry of the IDPs, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, National Center for Disease Control and Public Health- NCDC, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of Adjara and the Committee on Health and Social Affairs, the Research Unit at the Parliament of Georgia are attending the training.

The training is provided in the frame of Embedding Rapid Reviews in Health Systems Decision-Making (ERA) Project funded by Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR) – The project aims at building capacities of evidence-based and sustainable decision-making in the field of healthcare policy development. Read more about the ERA project here.
