Culminating event – Building Institutional Capacity for Health Policy and Systems Research and Delivery science (BIRD) in six WHO Regions

3-day culminating event was conducted in Beirut, Lebanon in the frame of “Building Institutional Capacity for Health Policy and Systems Research and Delivery science (BIRD) in six WHO Regions” program. The meeting aimed to reflect on achievements and learnings and plan for the future of the Mentorship Program.

Curatio International Foundation acts as a Europe Regional hub organization and has been implemented the program from 2019 till 2023. During this period CIF has made significant achievements with the extensive support from Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center of American University of Beirut  (AUB) and the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR).

During the event in Beirut Mrs. Maia Uchaneishvili summarized the outcomes of the program and highlighted the importance of such initiatives for Georgia and other countries in the region.

Dr. George Gotsadze the president of CIF shared the experience of CIF on how to keep organizations sustainable and impact oriented.

During the 3-day culminating event the Alliance for HPSR had the side event to celebrate the 25-year anniversary and along with the Alliance and AUB leadership and other honorable presenters, president of CIF Dr. George Gotsadze reflected on the experience of collaboration with the Alliance and its invaluable contribution to the field during the last 25 years.
