LNCT WEBINAR: Designing Behavioural Strategies for Immunization in a Covid-19 Context

Please join us on Thursday, May 21, 2020 for an LNCT webinar, ‘Designing Behavioral Strategies for Immunization in a Covid-19 Context.’ Hosted by Common Thread, this webinar will review the Covid-19 context that many GAVI countries now find themselves in. This new Covid-19 context, underpinned by the way in which citizens: perceive Government guidelines and services, trust public and other sources of information, and assess their risk to Covid-19 and other diseases, will determine how much they demand and seek out immunization services moving forward. Looking at a few behavioral levers that can increase demand for immunization and learning from countries who have begun to reintroduce immunization services, we will explore how countries can increase public trust and demand for immunization to ensure global gains in immunization do not unravel. Participants will then hear from four countries – Cote D’Ivoire, India, Sri Lanka, and Viet Nam – on key challenges and lessons learned from their experiences.
